Overlooking the breathtaking Current River, the Blue Heron offers not only stunning views but a full-service menu that celebrates bold flavors and southern charm.

While we're best known for our four cuts of juicy, charbroiled steaks—especially Chef Bobby King’s signature 8 oz. Crab-Stuffed Filet—our menu features something for every palate. Savor specialties like Crusted Orange Roughy, Hill Country Catfish, Stuffed Pasta Shells, and a range of flavorful chicken and shrimp entrees. Start your meal with one of our house favorites: the Current River Rootwad, our take on the classic fried onion blossom.

Cancellation Policy


Cancellation of your reservation within 24 hours (or 14 days for summer weekends) of arrival results in the entire lodging amount per reserved room to be non-refundable. No shows and early departures are charged the entire amount of the reserved stay.

Cancellation outside of 24 hours (or 14 days for summer weekends) results in a $15 cancellation fee per reserved room. There is a non-refundable $50 deposit for all summer online reservations.

A two night minimum stay is required on weekends, Memorial Day Friday thru Labor Day Monday. Credit Card Authorization is required for all Reservations.
